The Mat chair upholstery is made of hemp fibers, black steel. Normann Copenhagen This is a shell chair for the dining table, kitchen, or workplace. Its seat shell is made of hemp fibers and stands on lacquered steel legs.

design & material

Mat is short for "Materials". The Danish studio Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen developed the chair over several years, exploring how to create a contemporary shell chair using materials with a lower environmental impact than the industry average. The shell is created using a specially developed compression process and mounted on powder-coated steel legs. The material also defines the chair's appearance: you can see and feel the natural structure of the fibers.

The seat height of 45 cm is a familiar height for sitting at a table. Weighing only 4.6 kg, the chair is easy to move, for example, when guests arrive. Mat is designed for disassembly and recycling: according to the manufacturer, the Bauparts are reintegrated into new productions.

You can choose between beige and the fabrics Hallingdal 110, Remix 133, or Ultra 41599 – a total of 7 options. The chair belongs to the Mat Collection: Scandinavian design for your home. Mat Kollektion: Skandinavisches Design für dein Zuhause

Mat ist die Sitzmöbelserie von Normann Copenhagen mit einer Schale aus Naturfasern wie Seegras oder Hanffasern. Die Serie steht laut Hersteller für Innovation und Kreislaufwirtschaft.

Drei Sitzformen: Die Serie umfasst den Mat Stuhl, den Mat Lehnstuhl mit Armlehnen und den Mat Barstuhl mit Armlehne in der 75-cm-Ausführung.
Naturfaser-Schale: Die Sitzschale gibt es in Seegras oder Hanffasern, und ihre Struktur bleibt je nach Polsterung ganz oder teilweise sichtbar.
Vier Polstervarianten: Du wählst zwischen ungepolstert, mit Polster, Frontpolster oder Vollpolster, zum Beispiel mit Bezügen wie Hallingdal 110, Remix 133 oder Ultra 41599.
Gestell nach Wahl: Das Untergestell ist in schwarzem Stahl, cremefarbenem Stahl oder Buchenholz erhältlich.
