The swivel shell chair Form swivel chair with casters, upholstered, aluminum from Normann Copenhagen It brings movement to the desk and dining table: The bowl rotates, and the casters allow you to glide to the shelf or to the person opposite you without getting up. The cushion softens the clean, bowl-like shape.

design & material

Simon Legald designed the Form collection, which was introduced in 2014 and continues to expand. The polypropylene shell is formed in a single injection molding process, resulting in a stable construction with a clean surface. Upholstery and fabrics such as Hallingdal 110, Remix 133, or Ultra 41599 add warmth to the silhouette, while the frame is made of aluminum. Production takes place in Poland, and the manufacturer is based in Denmark. The chair received the German Design Award (Special Mention) and the iF Product Design Award in 2016.

The chair swivels and rolls. Depending on the model, it has armrests where you can rest your forearms. The seat height is 37 cm; compare this to the height of your table before choosing.

Form: Elegante Stühle und Tische von Normann

Form ist eine Stuhlserie von Normann Copenhagen, entworfen von Simon Legald. Ihr Kennzeichen ist ein Stecksystem, das Sitzschale und Gestell nahtlos zu einer Einheit verbindet.

  • Vier Stuhltypen: Die Serie umfasst Stühle, Stapelstühle, Lehnstühle sowie Drehstühle und Dreh-Schalenstühle, teils mit Rollen.
  • Sieben Gestelle: Den Rahmen wählst du aus Eiche, schwarzer Eiche, Walnuss, Stahl, schwarzem Stahl, Messing oder Chrom.
  • Farbige Schalen: Die Sitzschalen gibt es unter anderem in Schwarz, Weiss, Grau, Braun, Grün, Rot und Blau.
  • Gepolsterte Varianten: Für mehr Komfort gibt es Polsterungen mit Bezügen wie Hallingdal 110, Remix 133 oder Ultra 41599 sowie ein Sitzkissen aus Leder.
  • Mischbar am Tisch: Da alle Modelle dieselbe Schalenform haben, kannst du Stühle und Lehnstühle an einem Esstisch kombinieren.
