The modular sofa Swell by Normann Copenhagen It's built according to your specifications: You assemble your own sofa or armchair from 10 different modules. The soft, curved shapes appear playful and inviting, completely without unnecessary details.

design & material

Swell was designed by Swedish designer Jonas Wagell. The name refers to rising bread: a full form with a generously padded back and seat, and two rounded armrests. Quilted seams divide the back and seat into sections, giving the sofa structure. The seat frame is made of plywood, partly FSC®-certified (FSC-C163461), and covered with several layers of foam, which enhances seating comfort. The lacquered legs are made of ash, FSC®-certified as well as from other controlled sources. Production takes place in Lithuania, and the manufacturer is based in Denmark.

Variants & combination

You can choose between two sizes: W 85 x D 95 x H 70 cm or W 90 x D 133 x H 70 cm, both in Hallingdal 0110 fabric. The range also offers a variety of other textiles and leathers, allowing you to customize the size and shape to your space. Mission & styling

Round shapes thrive on contrasts: A coffee table with clean lines, a rug in a calming tone, and a single floor lamp make the sofa the focal point. Several modules can be combined to create a seating area in the living room, while a single module fits perfectly into a reading nook.

Swell kann aus 10 verschiedenen Modulen zusammengestellt werden. Das Sitzgestell ist aus FSC™-zertifiziertem (FSC-C163461) Sperrholz und Sperrholz aus anderen Quellen gefertigt. Es enthält zudem No-Sag-Federn mit HR 38 Kaltschaum auf dem Sitz und HR 35 Kaltschaum auf Rücken und Armlehnen. Darüber liegt eine Schicht supersanfter S25-Kaltschaum, die für optimalen Komfort sorgt. Die Beine bestehen aus FSC™-Eschenholz und Eschenholz aus anderen kontrollierten Quellen. Das Holz ist lackiert.

Um Farben und Aussehen zu schützen, empfehlen wir regelmässiges Staubsaugen mit einem weichen Staubsaugeraufsatz.
