Eddy table lamp

Eddy table lamp by Normann Copenhagen

The Eddy table lamp by Normann Copenhagen It provides soft, dimmable light and plays with proportions: An airy steel shade floats above a heavy, organically shaped marble base. This creates a silhouette that appears both calm and vibrant.

design & material

Danish designer Simon Legald conceived Eddy as a study in balance and movement. The pressed steel shade houses an integrated LED light source, while the base is crafted from hand-turned Italian marble. Because the shade points downwards, it also illuminates the lamp itself: the light falls onto the marble, emphasizing its ever-changing character.

comfort & function

The shade and base meet at a gleaming brass sphere. You tilt the shade around it to direct the light where you need it. Use the round brass dimmer on top of the shade to adjust the soft light to suit the evening.

Variants & Mission

Eddy is available in four versions: grey, black, and white. With a diameter of 32 cm, the lamp fits perfectly on a sideboard, chest of drawers, or console table and adds a subtle accent to wood, linen, and ceramic surfaces. You can find more models in the...
