My Chair – a modern classic from Copenhagen

With My Chair, the Danish designer Nicholas Wiig Hansen created a new chair in 2013 for Normann Copenhagen A seating series designed that combines clean lines with noticeable comfort. The series includes bar stools, chairs and lounge chairs – all with the same distinctive seat shell and a calm, minimalist silhouette.

A seat shell that moves with you

The centerpiece of each model is the molded wood shell. Rubber elements between the shell and the frame give the seat some give: the shell gently follows your movements instead of forcing you into a rigid posture. This allows you to sit comfortably even during extended conversations at the counter or dining table.

Bar stools in two heights

The My Chair bar stools are available in 65 cm for kitchen counters and in 75 cm for higher bar counters. You can choose between frames in chrome, steel, or black steel, and shells in oak or walnut. The My Chair Lounge armchair translates the series' design language to a lower, more relaxed seating position.
