Agora - Seating system by MDD

The modular Agora sofa by Mdd, designed by Form Us With Love, was developed for coworking spaces, reception areas, and public interiors. Thanks to the free configuration of the modules, Agora adapts flexibly to any room situation – whether as a simple bench or as a combined solution at a 90-degree angle.

Construction and materials

The seat and backrest are made of molded foam with a density of 52 kg/m³ and are upholstered. The base consists of powder-coated tubes with a diameter of 25 mm and a wall thickness of 1.5 mm. The legs are finished with plastic feet in the same color as the frame. The top panel is made of 19 mm MDF with a natural wood veneer, as is the base. Each seat can support up to 120 kg.

Functionality and comfort

The padded backrest relieves pressure on the lumbar spine and ensures comfort even during extended periods of sitting. Wide, deep seats offer additional space, while high metal legs make getting up easier. The shelf between the seats is ideal for catalogs, drinks, or handbags. An optional media box with a power outlet and USB-A and USB-C charging ports is available and can be mounted anywhere along the frame.

Agora is available in various modules: seat, seat with backrest, seat with high backrest, tabletop, and shelf. Numerous color and size options are also available, allowing you to create your own individual seating system. • Die gepolsterte Rückenlehne entlastet die Lendenwirbelsäule, erhöht den Sitzkomfort und macht langes Sitzen nicht belastend;
• Die breiten und tiefen Sitze erhöhen den Sitzkomfort;
• Die ästhetische Rückenlehne des Sitzes ermöglicht es, die Möbel in der Mitte des Raumes zu platzieren;
• Hohe Metallfüsse erleichtern das Aufstehen und Hinsetzen;
• Die Ablage zwischen den Sitzen ist ein perfekter Platz für Kataloge, Getränke oder Handtaschen während des Wartens;
• Möglichkeit der freien Konfiguration der Module, wodurch sich die Form an den Innenraum anpasst;
