The Draw Vase by Normann Copenhagen This vase series combines floral inspiration, intuitive design, and modern material aesthetics to create an exceptional home accessory. It was designed by a Copenhagen-based creative studio. TABLEAU Under the direction of designer Julius Værnæs, their distinctive, organic silhouette is based on so-called blind drawings: drawings created without looking at the paper during the process. From these immediate, emotional lines, three-dimensional vase forms were developed that lend any space a poetic and architectural presence.

From blind drawing to three-dimensional design vase

The Draw Vase translates the spontaneous gesture of a drawing into a tactile, transparent sculpture. For more than a decade, Julius Værnæs has been creating blind drawings, often featuring floral motifs, to capture honest and direct impressions. In the Draw Vase, the seemingly naive, instinctive lines are consciously transformed into a precise and sculptural form. The result is a vase, which not only showcases flowers, but also works as a decorative design object even without contents.

Translucent resin meets light and space

Crafted from translucent resin, the Draw Vase captivates with a reflective surface that reveals ever-changing facets depending on the light.
