Simon Legald was inspired by the Danish hygge culture when designing the Hyg series. Hygge stands for coziness, warmth, and a feeling of security. The Hyg series was first introduced in 2018 and included a two-seater sofa, armchair, and footstool. In 2020, the series was expanded to include a chair and a bar stool, retaining the signature features of the lounge series.
