Design and inspiration

Simon Legald designed the Hyg series with the goal of creating intimate and cozy spaces. The soft lines and enveloping contours of the Hyg chair invite you to sit back and relax. Originally launched in 2018, the series initially included a two-seater sofa, armchairs, and a footstool. In 2020, the collection was expanded to include the Hyg chair and a bar stool, which retain the signature organic curves and outstanding comfort of the lounge series.

Materials and workmanship

The Hyg chair consists of a high-strength polypropylene shell mounted with four screws and cups on a sturdy black oak wooden base. The grey/Remix upholstery provides additional comfort and gives the chair an elegant look. The chair is delivered fully assembled, making it ready for immediate use.
