The oil penetration is deeper in some places than in others. Before using your new furniture, remove excess oil and Staub with a dry cloth. Do not oil your new furniture right away. To ensure the furniture retains its color, we recommend oiling it at the end of the first garden season. Clean the furniture, sand it if necessary.edarf with very fine sandpaper (240) and then apply a thin layer of oil with a cloth. It is very important that no dirt or Staub under the oil, as this can lead to mold growth. Remove any excess oil from the wood with a dry cloth. This process should be repeated every year, just before the furniture is put out in the garden for the summer. The furniture should not be stored in a damp place, as this can lead to mold growth. We recommend using a suitable cover to prevent damage from harsh weather conditions. Do not store the furniture for winter storage in a centrally heated room, as this can cause the wood to dry out, resulting in shrinkage and cracking. A cool, well-ventilated garden shed is a suitable storage location. Never cover the furniture with protective film, as this can lead to mold growth. After extended use and/or the wood has dried out, it may be necessary to retighten the screws (with moderate force).
