Mat armchair upholstery seagrass black steel

Mat armchair - Sustainable design meets comfort

The Mat armchair from Normann Copenhagen is a MeisterA work of modern design that combines innovation and sustainability. This armchair is not just a piece of furniture, but a statement for environmentally conscious living.

Materials that shape the future

The shell of the Mat Chair is crafted from an innovative combination of hemp and seagrass. These materials are not only renewable and environmentally friendly, but also lend the chair a unique aesthetic and feel. The use of seagrass, a type of algae, and hemp demonstrates how natural resources can be used in high-quality design.

A design that takes responsibility

The Mat collection embodies the principles of a circular economy. All components of the chair can be disassembled and recycled. This enables a closed-loop life cycle, allowing materials to be reused to create new products.

Versatility and comfort

The Mat armchair is available in various versions, including dining chairs, armchairs, and bar stools. Each version can be fully or partially upholstered in numerous fabric and color options to perfectly complement any interior.
