The Pad lounge chair by Normann Copenhagen is a masterpiece of modern design, captivating with its combination of materials, texture, and form. The Pad Lounge series consists of a solid steel or aluminum frame combined with sections of robust oak veneer. The backrest and seat are crafted from molded veneer, insulated with polyurethane foam and upholstered by expert saddlers. The boxy yet perfectly rounded shape offers an organic texture and warmth that harmonizes with the cool sheen of the wood, fabric, and metal.
The Pad series comprises various models, including a high and a low lounge chair, as well as a matching footstool. Three base options are available: a static black or gray steel frame, a flexible swivel base in black or polished aluminum, and a swivel and tilt base for added mobility. All models are available with a backrest in clear or black lacquered oak and upholstery in various qualities and colors.

The cushion is made of molded oak veneer or lacquered and lacquered ash veneer with molded polyurethane foam. Internally, it features a steel reinforcement structure for flexibility and maximum seating comfort. The front is upholstered in either fabric or leather.
