POLYESTER Carpets can discolor or fade when exposed to direct sunlight, so it's important to rotate the carpet regularly to maintain an even color. Polyester carpets should be vacuumed regularly, preferably once a week. Use a non-brush nozzle and vacuum gently. A rug pad will hold it in place and protect it from wear and tear. Remove stains immediately. Do not rub, but gently absorb with a cloth. It is important not to use a colored cloth, as this can discolor the carpet.
