Blok bed with storage box in Écru – for mattress size 90 x 200 cm

The Blok bed from Kave Home combines clean lines with practical storage space. Its wide silhouette in ecru creates a calm, stylish look in the bedroom and offers flexible storage options thanks to the removable bed base. The generous storage space is accessed via a gas spring opening mechanism, making lifting noticeably easier.

Material and construction

The structure consists of a combination of MDF, particleboard, pine (Pinus pinaster and Pinus sylvestris), beech, steel, acrylic fibers, and fabric. The legs are made of plastic and steel, equipped with plastic glides as foot pads. The frame is composed of PU foam and E0 particleboard. The highly flexible slatted base, made of poplar plywood slats, is attached to polyethylene brackets, which reduces noise and provides better shock absorption.

Sustainability and origin

The internal structure is made of FSC Mix Credit certified wood – a blend of materials from FSC-certified forests and FSC-controlled wood. The bed is manufactured in Europe using traditional methods that reduce CO2 emissions. Further sustainability features include PEFC certification and the use of recycled materials.

Dimensions and assembly

The Blok bed measures 135 cm in width, 230 cm in depth, and 100 cm in height, weighing 82.2 kg. Assembly is recommended for two people and is of medium difficulty. Before starting assembly, all fittings should be checked and sorted; assembly is best carried out on a soft surface.
