Rib wall cabinet

Rib wall cabinet, hanging cabinet by Normann Copenhagen

The Rib wall cabinet from Normann Copenhagen It's a wall cabinet that brings storage space to the wall and manages entirely without handles. Its wooden front echoes the facades of Nordic summer houses.

design & material

Simon Legald designed the Rib collection based on the model of Scandinavian summer houses from the 1960s with their vertical wooden slats. Trapezoidal wooden panels echo these. BauTradition is at the heart of this piece. The frame is made of oak veneer, while the slats and base are solid oak, all FSC®-certified (FSC-C163461). According to the manufacturer, this combination ensures durability and a simple, natural look. The cabinet is manufactured in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the brand originates from Denmark.

comfort & function

A simple push on the front opens the cabinet, as the push-to-open mechanism eliminates the need for handles. The reversible fronts allow you to change the opening direction from left to right, for example, to match a door or window. The removable shelves are height-adjustable, providing storage for books, boxes, or personal items.

Variants & series

You can choose between oak and warm black, both with a lacquered oak veneer frame. Find more pieces from this manufacturer at [website address]. Normann Copenhagen.

Mission & combination

In the hallway, it holds keys and mail; in the living room, two side-by-side create a calming wall unit. The oak version harmonizes with linen, ceramics, and wool, while the warm black complements light walls. You can find more models in the Collection wall cabinet.
