The Stacking lounger from Rolf Heide has been writing design history since 1966. The demountable Stacking bed consists of four wooden parts and connecting elements and is complemented by slatted frame and mattress. Discover also our additional beds and mattresses.

Bed external dimensions: plus 3 cm in length and width
Height of single bed, Classic version: 235 mm
Height of single bed, comfort version: 275 mm
Height of stacked bed, Classic version: 400 mm

Single beds: Length = corresponds to the clear dimension, width = clear dimension -7 mm
Double beds: Length = clear dimension -5 mm, width = clear dimension -7 mm
Our adjustable and rigid slatted frames are specially designed for the Stacking Lounger. Therefore, non-factory slatted frames generally won't fit.
We make sure our slatted frames have a small cutout at the head and foot. This is necessary for inserting the slatted frames into the stacking bed. Without this cutout, the slatted frame can collide with the screws on the inside of the brackets, making it impossible to insert correctly. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the fit of third-party slatted frames.
Stacking Lounger Classic:
Roll-out slatted frame + 140 mm high mattress or solid wood frame + 100 mm high mattress
Stacking bed comfort:
Roll-out slatted frame + 140 mm to max. 180 mm high mattress or solid wood frame + 140 mm high mattress
We recommend using our mattresses.
The gaps that arise when two loungers are stacked on the Classic Stacking Lounger depend largely on the respective position of the angles and can therefore be adapted to your own needs.
