The Steinel IS 130-2 black motion detector is a compact infrared motion detector for house walls, entrances, patios, and driveways. It detects movement within a 130° angle up to 12 meters, so the light switches on when you need it. The anthracite (RAL 7016) housing blends discreetly into dark facades and door frames.

Set up targeted data collection

You can swivel the sensor 50° horizontally and 90° vertically, for example, to point it towards your front door. The included cover plates allow you to mask areas that shouldn't trigger. 260 switching zones with creep zone protection and segmented masking ensure precise monitoring. An optimal mounting height is 2 m, with a maximum of 3 m possible.

Time, twilight and power

You can adjust the illumination duration continuously from 8 seconds to 35 minutes: short for passing through, longer for the evening on the patio. The twilight setting, adjustable from 2 to 2000 lux, is controlled via a potentiometer, ensuring the light only activates in darkness. The sensor can handle a switching load of 600 W, equivalent to up to 4 LED lights, and is compatible with LED, halogen, and fluorescent lamps. It can be networked via cable in master/master mode.
