The Steinel IS 130-2 white motion detector is a compact infrared motion detector for house walls, entrances, patios, and driveways. It detects movement within a 130° angle and up to a distance of 12 meters. This means the light switches on when you arrive and stays off when no one is there.

Set up targeted data collection

You swivel the sensor 50° horizontally and 90° vertically to align it with the path or driveway. The included cover plates mask areas that shouldn't be monitored, such as an adjacent sidewalk. It also features 260 switching zones with creep zone protection and segmented masking. Using potentiometer controls, you can continuously adjust the time from 8 seconds to 35 minutes and set the twilight threshold between 2 and 2000 lux. This allows the light to illuminate briefly at the front door and for a longer period on the patio.

Material and weather protection

The housing is made of UV-resistant plastic in white RAL 9001 and blends seamlessly into light-colored facades or walls. With an IP54 rating, it is weatherproof and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Connection and combination

The detector switches up to 600 W, allowing you to connect up to four LED lights. Halogen and fluorescent lamps are also supported. It operates on 230–240 V/50 Hz and has low power consumption. Multiple detectors can be networked via cable in master/master mode, for example, to cover a longer side of a house. Mounting hardware is included, and the warranty is 3 years.
