STEINEL motion detector IS 180-2 anthracite

Steinel IS 180-2 anthracite motion detector

The Steinel IS 180-2 anthracite motion detector switches the light on as soon as someone approaches, whether at the front of the house, in the driveway, or on the patio. The infrared detector covers a 180° angle and works both indoors and outdoors. This way, the light is only on when you need it.

design & material

The flat housing, made of UV-resistant plastic, is designed for outdoor use. Its anthracite color blends discreetly with light-colored plastered facades and dark walls. Protection rating IP54 and protection class II ensure safe outdoor use.

comfort & function

Rotating the multi-lens allows you to select a range of 5 m for the entrance or 12 m for the driveway. 504 switching zones with segmented masking and creep zone protection allow you to exclude individual areas. The time is continuously adjustable from 5 seconds to 15 minutes, and the twilight level can be set via a potentiometer from 2 to 2000 lux. This lets you determine the brightness level and duration at which the light activates. The detector switches up to 1000 W, is suitable for up to 6 LED lights, and supports LED, halogen, and fluorescent lamps. Multiple detectors can be networked via cable in master/master mode.

Mission & Assembly

Mount the detector on a wall or in a corner. An optimal height is 2 m, with a maximum of 4 m possible. A corner wall bracket is available as an option for corner mounting; mounting hardware is included.
