The Steinel IS 180-2 white motion detector switches on the light as soon as someone approaches – at the front of the house, driveway, or patio. The infrared detector has a 180° detection angle and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. This way, the path to the front door is illuminated before you even reach for your keys.

Recording and settings

By rotating the multi-lens, you can adjust the range to 5 m or 12 m: short for the front door, long for the driveway or property. The 504 switching zones can be masked segment by segment, ensuring that only the areas you want are monitored; creep zone protection is included. The illumination duration is continuously adjustable from 5 seconds to 15 minutes, and the twilight setting is adjustable from 2 to 2000 lux via a potentiometer.

Material and robustness

UV-resistant plastic, flat design, IP54 protection rating and protection class II: The detector is built for outdoor use. In white, it remains discreet on light-colored facades.

Assembly and combination

Mount it on the wall or in the corner, at BedaThe RF detector can be used with the optional corner wall bracket. An optimal height is 2 m, with a maximum of 4 m possible.
