Steinel IS 240 Duo white motion detector

The Steinel IS 240 Duo white motion detector switches on the light as soon as someone approaches the front door, driveway, or patio. Two sensors with a 240° detection angle and a range of up to 12 meters cover areas in front of two house walls. You come home, and the way is already lit.

Recording and setting

The sensor can be swivelled horizontally by 160°. The included cover plates allow you to precisely adjust the detection area. The 276 switching zones can be individually masked, for example, along a sidewalk, so the light doesn't switch on every time someone passes by. Creep zone protection is also included. A potentiometer allows you to select the time from 10 seconds to 15 minutes and the twilight level from 2 to 2000 lux.

Material and protection

The housing, made of UV-resistant white plastic, has a flat design and blends discreetly into light-colored facades. IP54 protection and protection class II make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Assembly and connection

You mount the detector on the wall or in a corner. Corner wall brackets and mounting accessories are included. The optimal mounting height is 2 m, with a maximum of 4 m possible. It switches up to 1000 W and supports LED, halogen, and fluorescent lamps. In master/master mode, you can network multiple detectors via cable, for example, for the front door and garage.
