The Steinel IS 360-1 DE white motion detector is a compact infrared motion detector for flush-mounted ceiling installation. It switches on the light as soon as someone approaches – under the eaves, in the entrance area, or on the patio. With a 360° detection angle and a range of up to 8 meters, it monitors the entire surrounding area.

Customized data collection

Cover plates are included: These allow you to precisely adjust the detection range and exclude areas where the light should not activate. Additionally, individual segments of the 304 switching zones can be masked, and creep zone protection is integrated. The detector has a radial range of 4 m and a tangential range of 8 m; the optimal mounting height is 2.5 m.

Set up and connect

Using the potentiometer control, you can continuously adjust the time from 8 seconds to 35 minutes and the twilight level from 2 to 2000 lux – meaning the light only switches on when it's dark enough. The switching load is up to 1000 W, and up to 6 LEDs can be connected. For larger areas or longer distances, you can network multiple sensors in master/master mode via cable.

The housing is made of UV-resistant plastic in white (RAL 9001) and blends discreetly into light-colored ceilings.
