: An additional advantage of the Dörrex is that the ventilation opening in the lid can be covered with an object. This causes the air to be trapped, which can reduce power consumption bymore than 50 percent . Please note that in this case, the temperature inside the unit will be lower than the temperature set on the control. Therefore, set the controller to a higher temperature accordingly—for example, to 50–55°C if the desired temperature is 40°C, or to 65–70°C if the desired temperature is 50°C . . This way, you’ll achieve reliable drying results while optimizing energy use.
