Tanca shelf by MDD – freestanding shelf with PET back panel

The Tanca shelf from the collection Standing shelf Designed by Yonoh Studio, it impresses with its clean, modern design. It is suitable both as a single shelf on the wall and as part of a modular configuration, making it flexible for use in various rooms.

Material and construction

The shelving unit consists of a frame made of powder-coated steel tubing with a diameter of 20 mm in semi-matte black (RAL 9005). The shelves are made of 18 mm thick chipboard with 2 mm ABS edging and can support a maximum load of 15 kg. The base is made of 28 mm thick chipboard, also with 2 mm ABS edging. A 9 mm thick PET felt panel in light gray (PET L-IC03-B60) serves as the back panel, visually finishing the modules and improving the acoustic properties of the room.

Mobility and combinability

Thanks to its casters with brakes (Ø 50 mm) for hard floors, the Tanca shelving unit can be easily moved by one person, allowing for quick room reconfiguration. Multiple modules can be combined to create larger configurations, enabling room zoning. The product is available in various sizes – select the appropriate option directly on the product page.
