Ultra – Swivel chair with wooden swivel base by Mdd

The Ultra is a Swivel chair from the house Mdd, Designed by Krystian Kowalski. With its wooden swivel base, it is suitable for conference rooms, meeting and relaxation areas as well as for the home office.

Comfort and features

The seat consists of a plastic frame filled and padded with foam. A cushion mounted on the backrest further enhances seating comfort. The upholstery materials used are of high quality and some are made from post-consumer recycled materials. The seat itself is made of non-flammable foam.

Wooden swivel base for greater flexibility

The Ultra chair's base consists of a four-star base made of beechwood (Ø35 mm), coated with clear lacquer. The legs are connected with metal elements and reach a height of 840 mm. The swivel seat allows for 360° rotation, making it easier to get up from the table. The frame is finished in semi-matte black (RAL 9005), and the wooden legs are also black.

The seat is yellow (VC-0238) and adds a fresh splash of color to the room. The chair measures 60 cm in length, 60 cm in width, and 85 cm in height, and weighs 12.2 kg. It has a weight capacity of 120 kg.

Origin and award

The Ultra is manufactured in Poland, in the European Union, and was a finalist in the design competition “Dobry Wzór 2017”.
