The Valde LAV20L reception desk by .mdd combines modern design, high functionality, and flexible modularity in an elegant furniture concept for sophisticated reception desks.. With . its dynamic shape, glossy fronts, and high-quality combination of materials—including glass, aluminum, and glossy laminates—it makes a stylish statement in office or service areas. The reception desk appears both light and impressive without overwhelming the space—ideal for companies that value a professional and contemporary reception area.
Thanks to its modular design, Valde can be configured in numerous ways: straight, corner, semicircular, or irregularly shaped. This allows the counter to be precisely adapted to the floor plan, visitor flow, and workflows. A particularly practical feature is the option of an overhanging countertop, which simplifies access for people with disabilities and thus supports an accessible design. The low side is designed for functionality and ensures comfortable use by wheelchair users.
: The Valde LAV20L impresses not only with its appearance but also with its well-thought-out design. The top panel consists of a 36-mm melamine panel with 4-mm LACOBEL glass, for a total thickness of 40 mm. The countertop, made of 28-mm melamine with ABS edge banding, ensures stability during daily use. High-gloss HPL fronts and sides underscore its elegant character, while the base in brushed aluminum provides a high-quality finish. Horizontal aluminum strips add additional accents and emphasize the dynamic lines.
With integrated cabl , e channels (Ø80 mm) , , white LED lighting with a cool color temperature running the entire length of the counter, and a height adjustment of 5 mm, the reception counter is designed for daily use in high-traffic areas. The bright lighting elegantly highlights the reception area and draws visitors’ attention directly to the reception desk. The color scheme—featuring a white countertopand a front in Matte Prussian Blue NCS S7020-R90B—can also be used as part of a visual identity system and conveys cleanliness, reliability, and professionalism.
Upon request, the reception desk can be expanded with additional elements. These include amonitor shelf , , a separate LMS05 , shelf, an end shelf, or a LAC10L/LAC10P cargo container with casters and a drawer function. These options provide additional storage space and improve organization at the workstation.
