The Wave LUV24 reception desk by .mdd from the Reception Desk collection combines an expressive design with high functionality, creating a professional first impression in office, service, and reception areas. Inspired by a wavy line that reflects the strength and tranquility of a calm ocean, this modular reception desk stands out with its distinctive, organic shape. The spiral design saves space while offering a well-thought-out work solution that doesn’t overwhelm the room. The counter’s luxurious appearance is created in particular by the elegant sheen of the white top, shimmering fronts, and decorative aluminum strips, which lend the reception area a professional and modern character.
Thanks to its modular construction , the Wave LUV24 allows for a wide variety of configurations that can be tailored precisely to the requirements of each space. Whether designed in a straight or corner layout, the available modules facilitate flexible space planning and also enable expanded solutions with multiple workstations. A configuration featuring a lower element is also adapted to the needs of wheelchair users, thereby supporting barrier-free reception areas. The distinctive shape draws attention without dominating the interior and is ideally suited for sophisticated commercial and institutional projects.
The reception desk impresses not only visually but also through its solid choice of materials and precise craftsmanship. The top panel consists of a 28-mm-thick melamine panel with a 4-mm-thick LACOBEL glass overlay (32 mm), while the countertop is made of a 28-mm-thick melamine panel with ABS edge banding. The front, finished in high-gloss HPL in Avocado Matt NCS S3020-G60Y, adds a fresh, elegant touch and emphasizes the counter’s organic character. The design is complemented by a decorative PVC strip in M009—semi-matte aluminum—as well as fasteners made of powder-coated metal in M015—semi-matte white metal. The “Pastel White” tabletop color creates a bright, welcoming effect and blends seamlessly into modern interiors.
TheWave LUV24 reception counter is designed for daily use in office and service environments. With built-incable grommets (Ø80 mm) , the workspace stays neatly organized, while optional accessories such as the Mediabox M071, , the PK81 cable grommets, , the S69 and E64 cable trays, and an SPD01 under-counter drawer further enhance functionality. A bag rack made of 6 mm white matte HPL can be ordered separately and mounted at countertop height. When connecting low and high counters, a metal support leg NL41 provides additional stability. The counter is manufactured in Poland, within the European Union, and thus meets high quality standards and features durable construction.
