How much space should I plan per person at the table? For a comfortable meal, you should calculate about 60 cm width and 40 cm depth per person. Don't forget to additionally plan about 80 cm space around the table for the chairs and freedom of movement.
What table height is ideal? The standard height for dining tables is between 74 and 76 cm. This harmonizes perfectly with most common dining chairs, which have a seat height of about 45 to 48 cm.
